The entertainment city in Al Qidiya, southwest of Riyadh, will be as large as Las Vegas when completed covering an area of 334 sq km (129 sq miles). Building is due to start next year and be complete by 2022.

Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud recently announced the creation of an. It will be a venue for cultural, sports and entertainment events. The announcement was reported by the Saudi state news agency SPA.
“The new city will become, by God’s will, a prominent cultural lVisitors can look forward to cultural, sporting and entertainment activities. Attractions will include a Six Flags theme park, car racing track, water parks and a safari parkandmark and an important centre for meeting the future generation’s recreational, cultural and social needs in the Kingdom,” Prince Mohammed was quoted saying by SPA.
It is also expected to create jobs for Saudi men and women.
