Mitchells & Butlers sell Hollywood Bowl for £27m

Mitchells & Butlers, owner of the All Bar One pubs chain, today called time on its Hollywood Bowl tenpin bowling business, selling it to the AMF Bowling empire for £27 million.

There are 24 Hollywood Bowls across the UK, including ones in Finchley and Surrey Quays, but M&B believes they are no longer core to its main business of operating food-led pubs like Harvester and Toby Carvery.
