Rank confirms the buy up of its great rival
The owner of Mecca bingo halls and Grovesnor casinos is to buy the casino arm of its great rival Gala Coral for £205m.
Rank Group reached agreement last night to buy 23 Gala casinos in Britain as well as the licenses to run three further venues. The deal marks the end of protracted negociations, revealed by the Sunday Times at the beginning of the year.
