Ebbsfleet pub development in “landmark building” gets green light

The Chalk Yard is named after the mining history of the area

Plans for a new pub development in Ebbsfleet Garden City have been given the go-ahead, according to the Ebbsfleet Development Corporation.

The new Shepherd Neame site will be situated in the Castle Hill area of the development, and will be named The Chalk Yard after the area’s steep mining history.

The new site will also feature 17 individually designed rooms, as well as a function room for meetings and events.
