UK cinema conference pulls focus to growth, and reaching new audiences

The UK Cinema Association has announced plans for its 2020 annual conference, ‘Audiences – growing the big screen experience‘, to be held on Tuesday 3 and Wednesday 4 March at Picturehouse Central, Piccadilly, London.

The event will explore different facets of audience development, including specific audience subsections, such a young people, people with disabilities and people from Black and Minority Ethnic communities.

”While the UK cinema sector continues to thrive, there is always more that can be done to reach out to new audiences, and to encourage current cinema-goers to see a broader range of films on the big screen”.
