Plans which could have seen new homes and a cinema built in Caversham have been pulled by developers.
Hermes’ application was for a five story mixed-use building in St Martins Precinct in Church Street.
The plans, which were submitted to Reading Borough Council in March 2018, proposed a building with 16 apartments, one studio, nine one-bedroom and six two bedroom flats alongside a cinema, retail and restaurant units and an extension to the neighbouring Waitrose store.
However, the developer withdrew the plans in Reading, Berkshire on Friday, January 24.
It is not yet known whether a revised plan will be submitted or why the developer has decided to withdraw the plans…
