Warwickshire: new cinema’s starring role in town centre transformation

Plans to regenerate Nuneaton town centre are on the cusp of a major milestone – deciding who will champion the new cinema, bar and restaurant proposals.

The Abbey Street part of the Transforming Nuneaton programme will soon have a developer on-board to move it forward.

A shortlist of four potential regeneration companies has now been drawn-up to carry forward the plans, which include getting a new cinema within the former Co-op building as well as creating a new public ‘plaza’ with bars and shops.
