Successful restaurant chain seeks “collaborative and circumspect” landlords

Mowgli’s Nisha Katona sets out adjusted expansion strategy

Indian street food restaurant group Mowgli is adjusting some of its forthcoming expansion plans, saying it will only look for landlords who are “collaborative and circumspect” in the future.

In an instagram post, Mowgli founder Nisha Katona has confirmed that its planned opening in Preston would no longer go ahead and says she is “considering her position” regarding the opening of a site in Edinburgh, which was set to be the group’s first Scottish location when it was announced in February.
