Escape Hunt says digital Christmas parties offset losses from site closures

The firm is now looking at targeting new customer segments and building a business-to-business brand

Escape Hunt PLC has said it benefitted “enormously” from companies turning to digital Christmas parties for staff due to the recent tougher coronavirus (COVID-19) restrictions.

The AIM-listed firm said the performance of its digital and remote play products in December has surpassed management’s expectations, offsetting losses from site closures across the UK.

The company launched a digital offer last spring, after it was forced to close its escape rooms during the initial lockdown, and it now believes it can target new customer segments and build a business-to-business brand…..
