Immersive production of The Wolf of Wall Street to open in London in September

An immersive production of The Wolf of Wall Street, the autobiography by American stockbroker Jordan Belfort later adapted for the cinema by Martin Scorsese, is set to open in central London later this year.

From the production team behind the immersive production of The Great Gatsby, Alexander Wright has adapted Belfort’s memoir, and will direct the production which promises to bring to life the highs and lows of his millionaire lifestyle.

Leonardo DiCaprio starred as Belfort in the film, which follows the young stockbroker through his career from his beginnings in the stock market, to finding his company Stratton Oakmont, and his involvement in FBI investigations – as well as his high-flying party escapades.

Announcing the production, Belfort said: “You’ve read the book, you’ve seen the film, now you can experience The Wolf of Wall Street in person.

“It’s going to be the greatest show you’ve ever seen. Get your fun coupons now.”

Belfort released his book in 2007, and it was adapted for the screen in 2013 and went on to be nominated for five Academy Awards.

This immersive production is presented by Stratton Oakmont Productions (Louis Hartshorn and Brian Hook of Hartson-Hook), who said: “You’ll be able to eat in our restaurant, drink in our bars, trade with Jordan, or work for the FBI. Our guests can expect the outrageous, the spectacular and the downright ridiculous.”

The Wolf of Wall Street will run at a central London location from 5th September to 19th January.
