Construction is scheduled to commence in December on the new state-of-the-art King Faisal Corniche project in Bahrain, which has a budget of $13.2 million.
The Capital Trustees Board has approved the plans for the project, which will include family rest areas, investment spaces, light sports and cycling tracks, an open square, and a monument for the Supreme Council for Women (SCW).
The Works Ministry will oversee the project on behalf of the Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Ministry. The plans were recommended by the Housing and Urban Planning Ministry. During the board’s recent meeting, a presentation indicated that the project will be tendered this month, awarded in August, the contract signed in October, and construction will commence in December.
