Disney’s Expensive ‘Star Wars’ Galactic Starcruiser Hotel to Close After Less Than Two Years

The immersive and pricey hotel “starship” in Florida is being sent to a galaxy far, far away.

Disney has decided to shutter its Star Wars-themed Galactic Starcruiser hotel after less than two years.

The ultra-ambitious project opened in March 2022 near the Disney World Resort in Orlando. The starship’s final voyage will be in September.
