A CHAIN has been secured to open a flagship multi-screen cinema and state-of-the-art bowling facility at the £70 million Tollgate Village retail and leisure park. Northern Gateway construction gets underway

Construction work on a long-awaited cinema and leisure complex is set to begin next summer, Colchester Council has revealed. Turnstone Estates received permission for its Northern Gateway Leisure Development, on land off the A12 near Colchester United’s Jobserve Community Stadium, in 2016. COLCHESTER Council looked into the prospect of compulsory purchasing the derelict former home of the town’s old Odeon cinema, a top councillor has said.
