The Light will bring a six-screen premium cinema to Redhill town centre as part of a multi-leisure venue between the High Street and Marketfield Way. It’s hoped to be open in time for Easter next year and bring a morning-to-evening entertainment and leisure experience to the town. Redevelopment of Guildford Debenhams could include shops, restaurants and access to the river

A new planning application for the redevelopment of Debenhams in Guildford has been submitted. Property developer Native Land bought the site in December 2020 and proposes to turn the site, now called St Mary’s Wharf, into a new and sustainable riverside destination for the town. The site has been empty since Debenhams closed its doors in May when the company went into administration. £1.5m two-screen art house cinema approved for Weybridge, Surrey

Curzon has been awarded a licence to convert the former public hall in Weybridge into a £1.5 million two-screen art house cinema. The cinema chain plans to inhabit the empty Weybridge Hall building in Church Street on a 25-year lease.
