£100m Leicester Square corner plot redevelopment

Property developers are set to spend £100 million transforming the north-east corner of London’s Leicester Square. Owners Soho Estates have appointed commercial property adviser Colliers to find a new tenant to turn the site into a new “destination” in the famous square, best known for hosting red carpet movie premieres. Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, the Texas-based theater chain that has become a favorite with cinephiles for its dine-in service and fan-forward approach to exhibition, has filed for Chapter 11.
